Information Collection When you visit a Site, we will not collect any personally identifiable information about you unless you choose to provide such information to us.

If you choose to register to use a Site, and depending on which of the available options you select, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information such as your name and email address. You will also be asked to provide credit card or other payment information and a billing address if you choose to purchase a product or service available on a Site. We use this information as required to provide you with the services you have requested.

 

We do not directly collect or store any personal financial information provided in connection with your purchase of products or services

 

We store information regarding any searches ("search history") you may make on our Sites for sixty (60) days, after which time we delete such information.  We may access your search history in order to send promotional emails.  If you would not like to receive such promotional emails, please see our Notifications & Opt-Out paragraph below.

 

Please note that all personal financial information required to complete your purchase (such as your credit card number) will be provided to and/or collected by a third party vendor, such as ClickBank, who will process payments and complete transactions.

 

How to Update or Change Your Information or Preferences  We want your information and preferences to be accurate and complete.  You may request access to any personal information and preferences that you have provided to us and correct, modify or update such information and/or preferences by sending an email with your request to support@Publicrecordschecks.com.

 

Notifications & Opt-Out If you choose to register to use a Site, we will send you a welcome email including information about the Site and your registration.

 

We may send you emails notifying you about new or upcoming products or services, news about the Site, information about changing or updating your Site registration information, and changes to the Site's terms of service, and promotional materials and offers from our company as well as from our subsidiaries, affiliates, marketing partners, advertisers and other third parties.

 

Out of respect for your privacy, if you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each email, or by emailing us at support@Publicrecordschecks.com.

 

We will take reasonable steps to implement your request to opt out. However, please note that due to production and mailing timelines, it may take around six weeks to make the requested change and, until that change takes effect, you may still receive promotional information from us.

 

Log Files As noted above, we automatically and through third-party tracking services (e.g., Google Analytics) gather certain non-personally identifiable information about your use of our Sites and store it in log files. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps, and related data. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, solely to analyze trends, administer the Sites, track users' movements around the Site and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole, and to improve our quality of our services. Out of respect for your privacy, we do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.

 

Cookies Our Websites use cookies to simulate a continuous connection - cookies let us "remember" information about your preferences and allow you to move within our Websites without reintroducing yourself. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. We use both session ID cookies and tracking cookies. Web Beacons Emails sent to you by us or our partners may include "web beacons". Web beacons are unique identifiers that gather certain non-personally identifiable information, and which allow us to better understand how you interact with these emails. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful. We may release certain personal information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of others and ourselves. Information Security We employ encryption and other security measures to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.  Whenever you provide us or our partners with sensitive or confidential information, we or our partners will take commercially reasonable steps to protect such information by establishing a secure connection with your web browser, such as employing a security technology known as a secure-socket-layer ("SSL") to protect the transmission of such information.

 

However, please be advised that while we make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches from ever occurring. You transmit information to us at your own risk.

 

Information Disclosure Legal Disclaimer We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us as provided in greater detail above.

 

Business Transitions In the event we go through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, any personally identifiable information we have on record will likely be among the assets transferred. The transferred personally identifiable information will remain subject to the provisions of this privacy policy or any subsequent updated versions.

 

Children We do not direct our Sites to, nor do we knowingly collect any personal information from, children under the age of thirteen.

 

Third Party Websites The Sites may contain links to third-party websites, which may have privacy policies that differ from our own. We are not responsible for the activities and practices that take place on these sites. Accordingly, we recommend that you review the privacy policy posted on any site that you may access through the Site.

 

Removing Your Information From Our Databases

 

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA"), 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq., as amended,  an individual may opt-out of having certain of their information included in Data if one of these conditions exists: (1) You are a state, local or federal law enforcement officer or public official and your position exposes you to a threat of death or serious bodily harm; or (2) you are a victim of identity theft; or (3) you are at risk of physical harm; or (4) you have evidence the record is incorrect or expunged. To opt-out, submit the following information:

1) A written explanation for the opt out request.  Identify the specific location of Your Data on our Website, and where your personal Data is publicly available, identify one of the four conditions You enabling you to opt-out of having your personal Data removed, and describe why such personal Data that is publicly available is inaccurate and harmful. NOTE: Please submit ONE request per individual.  

 

2) Copy of your current driver's license or state identification (this information is necessary in order for us to authenticate that the request is being made by the individual to whom the information belongs to).

- Full name and date of birth
- Aliases, if any
- Current address
- Previous addresses
- Phone
- Email address

 

3) Specific complete details of the records you are requesting to be removed

 

NOTE: Only your current and up to two previous address records will be removed.

 

4) Include a print out of the records you wish to have suppressed.

 

5) Copies of any applicable court orders, if any.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Unsigned or incomplete requests will not be processed. We will use good faith efforts to help prevent your non-public record information from being distributed. We cannot provide any assurance that information that is otherwise public record information, such as court records, will be withheld. Although most information is usually removed or blocked permanently, we do not guarantee the information will not be available again in the future from other sources or our site.
